More public access at Board meetingsLeave a Comment
Since Board Watch’s inception, we’ve asked the Board to “hold meetings in rooms large enough to accommodate the public.” Today, we are pleased to report that changes are being made to allow more people to be in the room during some Board meetings. The District has emailed to tell us that “beginning Wednesday, January 16th, the Board Agenda Review meetings will be moved to Conference Room A. This change was made to provide more seating for the public and allow them to feel more engaged.”
While we will continue to urge the Board to move all of its meetings to the larger Conference Room A, we are grateful for this step that ensures our volunteers and the public will be able to observe the Board in person as they make critical decisions about the future of our schools.
