Community Discussions

Pittsburgh Public Schools is in the midst of major education reforms. The District has responded to a declining student population, a stubborn budget deficit and unsatisfactory academic achievement by implementing a series of significant and difficult reforms. Right Sizing, Excellence for All, Excel.9.12, Ninth Grade Nation are initiatives that represent significant work to remake the Pittsburgh Public Schools.

With so much change happening so quickly, it is essential that there be a place for the community to gather to get the facts, understand what is being proposed, understand how it stacks up against other ideas, talk it through, and provide feedback.
